Domestica Nandina

Domestica Nandina, often called heavenly bamboo, is a traditional landscape staple known for its upright shape and dramatic fall foliage. It matures to about 4 feet tall and 2 feet wide, with cane-like stems and layered leaves that turn red to burgundy in fall and winter. The plant maintains a soft green look in spring and summer and adds bright color later in the year. Domestica is great for creating height in back borders, anchoring evergreen groupings, or accenting corners of mixed beds.
