The Treeland Journey
Treeland Nursery has been family owned and operated for over 42 years. The story begins with Junior and Nellie Reed, who purchased several acres of land in 1951 as part of a larger homestead. The Reeds initially used the land for farming and raising cattle, sheep, and mules.
Years later, some land was passed down to their daughter Pat, who, along with her husband Bob, built their home, started a family, and eventually founded the tree farm.

In 1983, after purchasing their first tree, Bob and Pat saw the potential to create a farm that could offer even higher quality trees at more competitive prices. With their children, Derek and Denise Piaschyk, joining the business, Treeland has since grown into the largest combined retail & wholesale nursery in Texas.
The Piaschyk family is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experience, unmatched in the industry. Treeland has expanded to 60 acres, featuring over 20,000 trees, and 12,000 square feet of greenhouses with shrubs, flowers, grasses, ground cover, succulents, vines and more. Our farm is beautifully landscaped with flower beds, serene ponds with ducks, and a variety of animals, including chickens, turkeys, peacocks, and goats. Customers can explore the farm with ease, using golf carts to navigate the expansive grounds.
