Limited Removal Service
Tree removals are limited in scope and require approval. Please review our approval process below.
1. Approval Process
Email a picture of each tree to be removed with a tape measure wrapped around the trunk at ground level.
We will calculate the diameter and provide a removal cost.
2. Free Removal Eligibility
- Free removal is available for trees originally planted by our crew within the past 4–5 years and under 6" in diameter.
- Trees larger than 6" are not eligible for removal by Treeland.
3. Removal Costs
Trees Up to 6" in Diameter (measured at ground level)
- $40 per inch of trunk diameter.
- Example: A 6" tree = $240.00 + tax for removal.
Trees Over 6" in Diameter
For larger removals over 6" in diameter at ground level, we recommend Chippers Tree Service (972-743-9959).

4. Proper Stump Grinding is Crucial
- Incomplete or improper stump removal by a third party may cause planting delays and result in a 10% cancellation/rescheduling fee.
- If an order is cancelled or rescheduled after our crew has left the farm, the delivery fee will also apply.
- Please ensure stump grinding meets Treeland's specifications (see chart below).
