First Knight Fountain Grass

First Knight Fountain Grass uses dark foliage to create contrast long before anything else in the planting catches the eye. Long, narrow blades emerge upright before arching outward, developing rich burgundy-purple tones that can appear nearly black in strong light. Its tall fountain-shaped form moves easily in the breeze while remaining substantial enough to serve as a vertical accent among brighter or finer-textured plants. Reaching about 3 to 4 feet tall and spreading 2 to 3 feet wide at maturity.
