Strawberry Smoothie Althea

Hibiscus syriacus 'DS02SS'

Strawberry Smoothie Althea is a vibrant ornamental shrub prized for its abundant, double-layered flowers that appear from midsummer into fall. Each bloom stands out boldly against the shrub’s rich green foliage, giving landscapes a long-lasting burst of color during the warmest part of the year. It reaches up to 8 to 10 feet tall with a spread of 6 to 8 feet, forming an upright, rounded shape that adds structure as well as beauty. Its extended bloom season makes it an excellent choice for creating vibrant focal points or anchoring mixed borders.
