Panicum virgatum ‘Heavy Metal’Heavy Metal Switch Grass is a fan-favorite herbaceous grass type, loved for its unique look. It features long, vivid green blades whose tips turn reddish in season. The miniature seed heads give this grass a more textured look as well. It grows 3 feet in height and only half that in width. This adaptable plant will grow wonderfully in almost any setting, but looks best in mixed and wild plantings.
