Southern Magnolia

Southern Magnolia carries a strong presence in every season, building a broad canopy from thick branches covered in large, leathery evergreen leaves. The foliage is glossy deep green above, often revealing warm rusty-brown undersides that add another layer of color and texture. Large creamy-white flowers open against the dark leaves, standing out individually while filling the surrounding air with their distinctive fragrance. Reaching about 60 to 80 feet tall and spreading 30 to 50 feet wide at maturity, it develops into an impressive specimen tree suited for open lawns, shade plantings, and large landscape focal points.
