Sideoats Grama

Sideoats Grama looks most at home when allowed to move, with thin flowering stems rising loosely above its grassy base and swaying with the slightest breeze. Its signature seed heads line just one side of the stems, starting with hints of red before drying to warm tan as the season moves forward. At about 2 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide at maturity, it brings height and movement without becoming heavy or overpowering.
