Silky Gold Tropical Milkweed
Asclepias curassavica 'Silky Gold'Silky Gold Tropical Milkweed lifts its color above the landscape, carrying rounded clusters of golden-yellow flowers at the ends of tall, leafy stems. Individual blooms have the intricate shape typical of milkweed, giving the clusters plenty of detail when viewed up close. Its narrow foliage and open branching keep the plant feeling light despite its height, allowing it to mix easily among other flowering plants. It reaches 3 to 4 feet tall and spreads 1 to 2 feet wide at maturity.
