Northern Catalpa

Northern Catalpa is a deciduous tree admired for its unique leaves that are in the shape of a heart. In late spring to early summer, it produces clusters of showy white flowers with purple and yellow accents, adding seasonal interest and visual appeal. Slender seed pods follow the blooms, extending the tree’s ornamental value into fall and winter. Reaching about 40 to 60 feet tall and spreading 20 to 40 feet wide at maturity, Northern Catalpa creates a strong presence in larger spaces.
