Mercury Rising Coreopsis

Coreopsis × ‘Mercury Rising’

Coreopsis Mercury Rising brings a bold pop of deep red to seasonal layouts, featuring velvety petals with occasional golden centers. This perennial forms a relaxed, spreading clump that reaches 1 foot in height and width at maturity. It blossoms from early summer through fall. Its fine-textured foliage supports a high volume of blooms, making it well-suited for filling out mixed perennial beds. Well adapted for North Texas plantings, this variety pairs well with both structured and informal designs. Use it in large-scale borders, layered beds, or containers where vivid contrast is needed.

  • A herbaceous perennial
  • Moderate growth rate with loose, spreading growth habits
  • Deep red flowers with yellow centers
  • Long bloom window from summer through fall
  • Effective in beds, borders, and seasonal containers

The Coreopsis Mercury Rising grows beautifully in USDA zones 5 through 9, making it suited for North Texas weather. Plant in full sun and well-draining soil.
