Casper Vitex

Vitex agnus-castus 'Casper'

Casper Vitex carries the familiar structure of Shoal Creek Vitex but shifts the color story to clean white blooms. The flower spikes rise above open, branching foliage, creating a lighter, more refined look compared to traditional purple forms. Its canopy develops with a relaxed spread, allowing light to pass through while still giving shape to the space. Reaching about 15 to 20 feet tall and spreading 15 to 20 feet wide at maturity, it forms an airy, well-balanced presence that works well as a focal tree or in open plantings.

  • Deciduous flowering tree
  • White flower spikes
  • Open, spreading growth habit
  • Moderate growth rate
  • Excellent for focal plantings and open landscapes

Casper Vitex thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Hardy in USDA zones 7 through 10, it provides soft seasonal color and an open, structured canopy in Texas landscapes.
