Velvet Cloak Smoketree is celebrated for its dramatic, deep purple to burgundy leaves that create a rich, velvety backdrop in the landscape. In late spring to early summer, the foliage is adorned with wispy, smoky-pink flower plumes that give the tree its smoketree name and provide a soft, cloud-like effect.
