Pride of Barbados
Caesalpinia pulcherrimaPride of Barbados creates a bold tropical display with clusters of vivid orange-red flowers accented by bright yellow highlights. The blooms rise above airy, finely divided foliage, creating a strong contrast between the colorful flowers and delicate leaves. Its upright, branching habit gives the plant an open, graceful silhouette while allowing the blooms to remain clearly visible throughout the warm season. Reaching about 8 to 15 feet tall and spreading 6 to 10 feet wide at maturity, it develops a substantial presence that works well in borders, accents, and open landscapes.
