Chrysalis Purple Butterfly Bush
Buddleia x 'Balchryurp'Chrysalis Purple Butterfly Bush keeps the familiar flower-packed look of butterfly bush much closer to the ground. Numerous purple flower spikes rise just above the foliage, creating a dense floral layer rather than a tall, open display. Soft silvery-green leaves provide a muted backdrop for the brighter blooms, while the compact branching keeps the plant looking full from the base upward. Reaching about 20 to 28 inches tall and spreading 18 to 24 inches wide at maturity, it fits easily into containers, border fronts, and smaller mixed beds.
